Scholarships for Black American Students in Tech
The Kuinua Together Annual Scholarship was created by Destiny Morgan, to assist students entering the Computer Information Technology program or Digital Media & Animation program at Alfred State.
Destiny Morgan attended Alfred State prior to joining the US Army Reserves and founded her own IT company, Kuinua Tech LLC. She recently developed her own application called GeekELove. By creating this scholarship, she wants to provide an opportunity for individuals like herself to learn more about technology, creativity, and support their growth.
THE PARAMETERS
To be eligible for consideration for the Kuinua Together Annual Scholarship at Alfred State, the student(s) must:
• Minimum GPA requirement: 3.2 GPA
• Black American/African American Ethnicity
• Current student in the Computer Technology or Digital Media & Animation program at Alfred State
• Available to students in either Associate or Bachelor’s Programs
To be eligible for consideration for the Kuinua Together Annual Scholarship at CSM the student(s) must:

• Possess and maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average;
• Be pursuing an associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity and Information Technology; and
• Black American/African American Ethnicity
THE RESULTS
The Kuinua Together scholarships mission is to inspire and support the upcoming generation in the technology field. We hope to grant opportunities to Black and African American descendants in the world of tech.
